Network Engineer & Problem Solver
Specializing in internet routing technologies, automation, and web development
About Me
Network engineer with experience in routing technologies and automation
Hey there! I'm Rabi, a network engineer and problem-solver with a strong focus on internet routing technologies and automation. I have hands-on experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC), particularly at Nepal International Internet Gateway, where I dealt with advanced BGP configurations, network performance testing, and real-time incident handling.
My technical interests revolve around modern networking paradigms like Segment Routing (SR) with MPLS and BGP signaling, as well as AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) frameworks using FreeRADIUS. I've also worked with PPPoE servers running on MikroTik, and handled production issues like VLAN misconfigurations and loop prevention.
Currently, I'm exploring integrations between ticketing systems and CRMs, developing my own web applications, and building a professional-grade portfolio to reflect my skills.
I believe in the power of clean design, automation, and staying calm under pressure. Whether it's optimizing routing tables, monitoring network performance, or writing a backend integration — I'm always up for a challenge.
What I'm Working On
Current projects and areas of focus
Integrating FreeRADIUS for full AAA workflows in a web environment, creating secure authentication systems for network access.
Researching and implementing Segment Routing with MPLS and BGP signaling for more efficient network traffic management.
Developing a custom ticketing system tied with CRM for streamlined support workflows and better customer service management.
Building web applications using Tailwind, Next.js, and React to create responsive, performant user interfaces.
